Passing forward the story we received
Liberal Logic Inc. did not reach where we are today on our own. The technologies we work with rest on knowledge that predecessors, researchers, and practitioners have built up over a long time. The opportunities that sustain our business, the people behind them, and the region we are based in — all of these were received from someone before us.
What we received was not only technology, but the story behind it. That is why we want to pass it forward to the makers and the generations who come next.
Carrying what we learned to the next practitioners
The practice of systems engineering, and engineering more broadly, has moved forward because of communities that share their knowledge. As one of the parties that has received from this, we take part in the community’s gatherings as an official sponsor, supporting the flow that carries what we learned on to the next practitioners and into the future of the field.

To maker culture and the makers who come next
Maker Faire Tokyo is a place where makers gather to enjoy building things, with no line drawn between companies and individuals. As a sponsor of the event, we help back young makers taking on new challenges, hoping to play a small part in fostering the opportunities from which the next generation of makers can grow. When someone moved by another’s work goes on to start building something of their own — that is the chain we want to help keep alive.

Handing the local community and the sea to the next generation
Yokohama, Kanagawa, where we are based, is a place that lives alongside the sea. By supporting the “Enosui eco” activities of the Enoshima Aquarium and continuing as a corporate eco supporter, we take part in handing on to the next generation the local community and marine environment that we ourselves receive today.

We remember the story we received and hand it on, within our means, to the makers and the generations who come next. We intend to keep building on that, one small step at a time.
